Mary McDonnell Joins Justin Hartley in CBS Drama Pilot 'The Never Game'

Two-time Oscar and two-time Emmy nominee Mary McDonnell has joined Justin Hartley in the CBS drama pilot 'The Never Game'. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Jeffery Deaver and follows lone-wolf survivalist Colter Shaw (Hartley) as he uncovers a conspiracy that drives him into a deadly game of cat and mouse with a mysterious and powerful organization known only as "The Never Game." McDonnell will play Hartley's mother, Mary, who abandoned him when he was a child. Despite her absence, Mary is a constant presence in Colter's life, haunted by the guilt of what she did.
