## Seminar: Yaroslavl, Eurasia **Yaroslavl** is the capital city of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and is located about 250 kilometers northeast of Moscow. It is the largest city in the Yaroslavl Oblast, and has a population of over 600,000 people. Yaroslavl is a major industrial and cultural center and is home to several universities and research institutes. **The EAEU** was established in 2015 and is a free trade area that includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. The EAEU has a population of over 180 million people and a combined GDP of over $4 trillion. Yaroslavl is a major transportation hub for the EAEU and is home to several international airports and railway stations. **A seminar** was held in Yaroslavl on June 28-29, 2023, to discuss the current state of the EAEU and its prospects for the future. The seminar was attended by government officials, business leaders, and academics from all five EAEU member states. **The seminar** was divided into several sessions, each of which focused on a different aspect of the EAEU.
